Material & Yarn Compositions

Typically made from a 55% cotton and 45% polyester blend.
GSM (grams per square meter): 300-500, with 400 GSM being most common.
Combed cotton and polyester threads for strength and durability.
Common thread sizes: 10/2, 16/2, and 20/2.

Made from 100% huckaback cotton for maximum absorbency.
GSM typically ranges from 200-400, with 300 GSM being a common choice.
Combed cotton threads ensure strength and smoothness.
Common thread sizes: 16/1 or 20/1.

Weaving Technique for Huck Towels

Huck towels use a huck weave, a variation of the plain weave, which creates a waffle-like texture for enhanced absorbency and durability. The pattern allows for efficient liquid absorption while maintaining a lightweight structure.
